Upgrade or Downgrade
How to change your SaasDash.ai plan, what happens during the transition, and how prorated billing works.
You can change your SaasDash.ai plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
How to Change Your Plan
Go to Billing
Navigate to Settings > Billing in the sidebar.
Select a new plan
Click on the plan you want to switch to. You will see a summary of what changes — features gained or lost, price difference, and effective date.
Confirm the change
Review and confirm. Stripe handles the billing adjustment automatically.
Upgrade: Immediate Access
When you upgrade:
- New features are available immediately
- Billing is prorated — you only pay the difference for the remaining days in your cycle
- AI credits are adjusted based on your new plan allocation
- Historical data becomes visible immediately (if moving to a plan with more history)
Downgrade: End of Cycle
When you downgrade:
- Current features remain active until the end of your billing cycle
- Downgrade takes effect on your next billing date
- Data is not deleted — but you may lose access to view historical snapshots beyond your new plan's limit
- AI credits adjust to the new plan's allocation on the next cycle
Feature access on downgrade
If you downgrade from Growth to Starter, you lose access to features like the Hourglass, Activation tracking, and NRR calculator. Your data in those features is preserved — if you upgrade again later, it will still be there.
Switching Billing Period
You can switch between monthly and annual billing:
- Monthly to annual: saves ~20%. Takes effect immediately with prorated adjustment.
- Annual to monthly: takes effect at the end of your annual term.
Cancellation
To cancel your subscription entirely:
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Click Cancel Subscription
- You will be asked to complete an exit survey (helps us improve)
- Your account reverts to the Free plan at the end of the billing cycle
- Your data is retained — you can still access Free-tier features
No lock-in
SaasDash has no contracts or lock-in periods. Cancel anytime and your account simply reverts to Free.
